When you sign in to the Studio app with GitHub, we use your name, email, and username to create and manage your account. We use your repositories’ names and settings to set up your projects.

When you use our website or Studio’s online services, we process technical information such as your IP address and, where applicable, browser type. We also process information you share with us when you contact support.

Studio stores project files and conversation history on your device. When you use coding agents or connected services, relevant prompts, files, attachments, and other context may be sent through your accounts to those providers. Those providers handle information according to their own privacy policies and your account settings.

We collect usage data and error reports to understand how Studio is used and fix problems. These reports and usage records include account or device identifiers, app and system details, error messages, and other technical information. We share information with service providers for analytics, error reporting, sign-in, repository services, and hosting. See the current list of service providers. We may also disclose information as required by law.

We use information to operate and protect Studio, provide support, improve reliability, and meet our legal obligations. Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases: performing our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Studio, complying with the law, and your consent where required.

We retain account information while your account is active. We retain usage data, error reports, and support communications for as long as needed to investigate issues, maintain security, and provide support. We delete or anonymize personal information when it is no longer needed, unless we must retain it to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

You can request access to your information or ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on your location, you may also have the right to receive a portable copy of your information, restrict or object to its use, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. Deleting the app does not delete your online account or information held by connected services. To make a request, email hello@withstudio.ai.

Studio is not intended for anyone under 18.
